Review: Redshirts

My ereader tells me I completed this in 7.4 hours at 189 words per minute, which might not be that impressive compared to anyone else but myself. That was fast. My attention span is severely limited these days, and I think it's getting shorter but whenever I start reading where I left off in this book, I end up reading through for more than two hours at a time: TWO!

And I'm not even that big of a Trekkie, mind. I only like the Next Generation (and their films), the Original Series (and their films), and both the new Abrams reboot films.

The writing is fast and entertaining and, even though Scalzi moves things along at a crisp pace, you still want to see what happens next.

I am really looking forward to the upcoming miniseries... I hope SyFy doesn't drop the ball on that one.
